Inspired by "Pay It Forward", a book by Catherine Ryan Hyde, founder of Agents Paying Forward and American Communities Networking & Paying Forward, Tom Ash was moved to make a difference in our world. By developing this site, Agents Paying Forward and ACN Paying Forward evolved to be a part of that goal.

In the book, a teacher challenges his students to "think of an idea for world change and put it into action." A student named Trevor, thinks of a great idea and describes the "pay it forward" concept:

"You see, I do something real good for three people. And then, when they ask how they can pay it back, I say they have to "pay it forward" to three other people. So nine people get helped. Then those people have to do twenty seven. then it sort of spreads out. See? to eighty one. Then two hundred forty three. Then seven hundred twenty nine. Then two thousand one hundred eighty seven. See how big it gets?"

Charitable organizations do truly amazing work. Whether it is The Red Cross, Make-A-Wish, Wounded Warrior programs (both of them), March of Dimes, Shriners Hospitals, schools or a local church - these organizations can do incredible things. However, just as the list of charitable organizations is practically endless, the need for monetary assistance is just as endless. Agents Paying Forward and ACN Paying Forward were created to help all of these organizations continue to flourish and help those in need.

"Networking" is one of the biggest ways people do business today. How remarkable would it be to network with some of the greatest organizations in order to help them continue their operations, and allow you to grow your business? Instead of asking for yourself, you are now asking for your charity – that’s not greed it’s networking for business and for charity!
