| Description | Homeless Day Shelter Serving Six Counties. Founded May 1993 and we serve over 1,000 Clients each year. We are a 501c3, ecumenical, non-profit, supported by private donations, Community Service Provider for Trustee, and one State Emergency Shelter Grant. We are a people-to-people organization, serving the clientele that "fall through the cracks." We ask, "What is your dream?" and "Would you be willing to come back and help another client? You know better than us ...(what it is to be homeless; utilities shut off; out of work; needing transportation;etc.)" CAM is "owned" by our Clients - We have many Client Volunteers. Our Mission Statement is to unify the assistance ministries of the religious community, show God’s love, meet needs not being met by community agencies, and cooperate with social service agencies in meeting the needs of our community. Any support will be greatly appreciated and put to use immediately. |
