| Description | The Liz Martocci Lung Cancer Foundation was founded to financially support those without health insurance so they receive the medical care they so deserve as quickly as possible, address the informational needs of people living with lung cancer and their loved ones and provide compassion and support to those facing the many challenges of lung cancer. A new case, of lung cancer, is diagnosed approximately every 2 minutes and a grim 5-year survival rate of only 14% exists, there is a deep need for an urgent response. Since our beginning, we have witnessed, first hand, the hopeless need for support in living expenses, doctor referrals, and genuine love. We have devoted ourselves to addressing these issues and are dedicated to helping people living with lung cancer overcome these issues. Whether someone needs a CAT scan, PET scan or just a Dr’s visit we are here to help. We have been there, we understand the hardship involved in taking on these challenges. We have hit every brick wall possible and overcome them. We are here to help you do the same. Whether you need someone to talk to that has been in the same situation or you need financial help we are here to do just that. We only ask that you pay it forward and help to change the world, one lung cancer patient at a time. |
